12 Players enjoyed the daybreak golf at Beaver Creek. The group played a 2-ball match and a 3-ball match. Joe Rulewich’s team dominated the action in both matches.

32 players played under great fall conditions, and when the action was concluded, it was time to pay the Piper. Tracy Piper’s team caught fire on the front and was able to also win the total. Chris Cantone’s team won the back match.

This coming saturday is a mega gang event. We need everyone to sign up. The format is one gross added to one net ball. There will be a friday night pickup at 7:00 with optional games. Saturday is an 8:30 shotgun. Entry is $20.00. $5 nassau and $5 one net + one gross skins. Friday night will also have a putting tournament under the lights.

Beaver Creek Junior Golf Results

The Beaver Creek Junior Golf program held its year end tournament on September 13, 2009.  Fourteen youth between the ages of 6 and 13 competed for the championship in three divisions.  In the 8 and under division, Brady Baile defeated Paxton Alexander after a grueling three-hole playoff after shooting matching 28’s in the 5 hole regulation event.  Brett Baile won the 9 – 10 year old division with a score of 44 for 9 holes.  In the 11 – 13 year old division, Vincent Steiner was victorious with a score of 54.

12 golfers hit the road to Black Rock in today’s version of Wicked Wednesday. Rod Steiner’s (-7  -3  -10) team was on fuego, and swept the match. The Black Rock course was in fine shape, and much more open to mistakes off the tee.

A special edition of Wicked Wednesday is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 17 @10:30AM, back at Beaver Creek.

Pat Steiner’s team dominated a small field of loyal golfers. Players had to play through a light rain the entire day. All 3 teams struggled with the conditions, but after a close front nine match, Pat Steiner’s team easily won the back and total.
